We ended being the first guests here quite by chance, having been relocated from another property, but we are glad we found this place. Perfectly positioned, yet very quiet. Well equipped and comfortable. We adore Whitby and are regular visitors and we’ll be coming back to the Old Blacksmith’s Workshop again. D and O, May 2010
Had a lovely time in Whitby with my grandparents. Our accommodation was marvellous – very stylish! I loved waking up early to go crabbing with my granddad, the most crabs we caught in one go was 22! I would highly recommend the Ghost Walk by the Shambles (very scary!) You really should go to Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes, they are beautiful, loads of rock pools! We will definitely come again! A wonderful holiday which we all enjoyed! The cottage was lovely, very well equipped and very clean and well presented. Great location, very close to the heart of Whitby whilst being nicely tucked away and quiet. We very much hope to visit Whitby again and would not hesitate to stay in this cottage again. Fantastic!! We will recommend this cottage to others. It was right in the heart of Whitby, while being secluded. Enjoyed the local restaurants and would recommend the Italian restaurant on Skinner Street. We have had a lovely time and enjoyed our visits to York and Staithes. The accommodation was lovely, modern and very comfortable, and a pleasure to come home to after a days travelling. Had a great week, in a great home in a great town. Many thanks! A and D, September 2010

Had a lovely week in Whitby celebrating our Silver Wedding anniversary. Holiday cottage lovely, perfect in every way. Great location. Appreciated the parking space. Food excellent wherever we ate (Magpie Café, Quayside, Terry’s to name a few). Many thanks, will recommend to family and friends and we’ll be back. Mr and Mrs M, October 2010 |
